The Minnesota Environmental Partnership (MEP) is a statewide coalition of environmental and conservation nonprofits. Together, our coalition members and supporters work for clean energy, clean water, and investments in Minnesota’s Great Outdoors through policy initiatives, public education, and community events.
Our coalition makes a difference for Minnesota. In 2011, MEP was named the #1 high-impact environmental nonprofit in Minnesota by more than 175 local experts.
We bring together citizen, congregational, government and business leaders to work collaboratively to create sustainable communities.
The Alliance for Sustainability brings about personal, organizational and planetary sustainability by informing, inspiring, educating, engaging and connecting people through positive, high impact projects and programs that bring communities together to act to create a sustainable future.
Clean Water Action organizes strong grassroots groups and coalitions, and campaigns to elect environmental candidates and to solve environmental and community problems.

Energizing Impact: How can private investment spur clean energy for all?
Join Fresh Energy for a conversation with Susan Hammel, an impact investment expert currently serving as the executive in residence at the Minnesota Council of Foundations, and Sandhya Murali, who is putting dollars to work increasing access to community solar as CFO and co-founder of Solstice in Massachusetts. Together, we will discuss the critical role that private investment can play in ensuring clean energy for all.
Earth Day will be the Minnesota Election Day for the Environment. It is a test of a new democratic tool — common internet voting that culminates for the first time on ONE day, an online issues “election day.” It will demonstrate the strength of ALL our numbers on Earth Day — the day that once again will show the force of protest.
